Maryanna

Maryanna is the bestselling co-author of Breakaway!, and a leading Career Management Consultant, Career Counsellor, Conference Speaker and Workshop Presenter in the areas of Counselling, Career Development Planning, Conflict Resolution, Performance Appraisal, Human Resource Analysis and Psychodrama.

After gaining a multi-disciplinary academic background in behavioural science, career education, performing arts and counselling psychology, Maryanna continues to embrace a passion for life-long learning, whilst working with key client groups, individuals, corporate entities, and government bodies.  She holds a Masters Degree in counselling, an Honours Degree in performing arts, specialising in the Art of Speech, and degrees from three high-ranking universities in science, education, and psychology. Maryanna has worked in government bodies, public institutions, the world’s largest humanitarian network and in private enterprise, while over the last twenty years working in private practice as a career management consultant.

With husband and partner, Sergio Carlo Maresca, Maryanna has researched and edited a number of best-selling titles, including "What’s on Your Mind?" and the soon-to-be-released CD titles, "Is Your Job in Jeopardy?" and "Have You got Cancer of the Career?". One of their best-selling books is "Breakaway!".

While her professional and personal interests and experiences give her a global focus, Maryanna chooses to reside in Australia’s "Sunshine State" of Queensland. In addition to her work in career management consultancy, facilitation and one-to-one counselling, she is a specialist in conflict resolution, neuro-linguistic programming, and psychodrama.  Maryanna has attained full JIG-CAL certification, and is an accredited MBTI (APA) trainer and assessor. She works where her clients’ needs arise, sits on school boards and the governing councils of voluntary organisations.  Maryanna has had, with husband Sergio, a son, Oskar Vincent Carlo, and a daughter Isabella Mary Angelina.

Maryanna is acknowledged by her peers in Canada, the UK, Denmark, and throughout Asia, as one of the "performance achievers" in her field.

Recently nominated as Telstra Business Woman of the Year, Maryanna specialises in tailoring both career development programs within corporate bodies and customising career counselling sessions for individual clients of all ages and backgrounds.
