Who is Maryanna?

Maryanna Maresca is internationally recognized as one of the peak performers in her field. After receiving many professional accolades, she has continued to embrace a passion for life-long learning. Maryanna’s experience over three decades in international business, training and career development, in addition to keynote conference speaking and writing best-selling books, has seen her emerge as one of the true pioneers of the portfolio career.

Her capacity as a counsellor, coach, inspirational speaker and accomplished presenter, with a passion for love, life laughter and learning make her trademark uniqueness an in-demand commodity in the corporate sector. Maryanna also has a passion for helping people and works as a corporate citizen and strategic partner with a large number of agencies which rely heavily on non-waged workers to support the agencies endeavours. Her belief in the value of the volunteer has been borne out of generations of considerable contributions made to the community in Australia by her great-grandmother, grandmother, great-aunt and godmother, as well as her mother’s on-going non-waged work within the community, today.

Maryanna has worked as an advisor to international corporations, government bodies and public institutions, as well as the world’s largest humanitarian network.

Her PhD. research has encompassed the impact of career development planning on both gifted girls and the roles embraced by senior female executives, C.O.O’s, C.F.O’s and most particularly, C.E.O’s. Maryanna brings extensive knowledge, training, and skill to mentoring and empowering women to be achievers in business, without the loss of their feminine style, to achieving a work-life balance as a parent and homemaker, enjoying success, as she does in the roles she plays.

Maryanna is a careers counsellor, facilitator, inspirational keynote speaker and workshop presenter, vocal coach, with a pa$$ion for growing people. Along with facilitation, assertiveness training and personal and business consultancy service provision, she has extensive experience in conflict resolution, neuro-linguist programming, and psychodrama and is an accredited MBTI (APA) trainer and assessor.

She uses over 30 years international commercial experience and wisdom drawn from three decades of training and development expertise in education, counselling, small business management, leadership development and personal development.

Maryanna Maresca uses a multi-faceted approach to both service and support clients and colleagues alike, to achieve their goals and to live their dreams, with balance and purpose, utilizing post-graduate qualifications gained in Australia at Griffith University, The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Bond University, James Cook University, Edith Cowen University, The University of New South Wales, and the University of Western Sydney, as well as both tertiary colleges and universities abroad specializing in behavioral science, career education, performing arts and counselling psychology, business administration, marketing and public relations as well as certification in MBTI, NLP and JIG-CAL allowing her to guide, direct and support clients through a career development maze of both danger and opportunity.

With husband and partner, Sergio Carlo Maresca, recognized as one of the top five international keynote business speakers and corporate trainers in the world today, Maryanna has researched and edited, as well as co-authored a number of best-selling titles, including “What Are You Famous For?” “Have You Got What It Takes?” “Do You Really Want To Be Happy?” “Is There Life Before Death?” “What’s On Your Mind?” “How to Combat Cancer of the Career!” “Is Your Job in Jeopardy?” “Is Your Life Worth The Risk?” – as well as the phenomenally successfully beginning of the BREAKAWAY! trilogy, released in 2000, followed by ANYWAY! which is due for release in 2009 and the last, including the collaboration of daughter Isabella Mary Angelina Maresca, due for release in October 2010, entitled CASTAWAY!
